Austin Pets Alive! is asking for help as they take in hundreds of animals affected by Hurricane Harvey.

APA confirmed to KVUE Friday morning that around 200 animals have already arrived at the shelter with "more to come," the shelter said.

"Needs are increasing rapidly -- especially as a lot of these animals have not been vaccinated," a representative told KVUE.
