AUSTIN, Texas — The Modern Architecture + Design Society and Goodlife Luxury are presenting the 11th annual Austin Modern Home Tour Saturday. 

The annual tour celebrates the work of local architects, designers, home builders and developers by showcasing their skill and talent to the community. 

Visitors will have a chance to explore at least 15 houses through self-guided tours and ask questions behind the various designs, ideas and build.

Participating homes in the 2019 Austin Modern Home Tour will open their doors for viewing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

This year, the Austin Modern Home Tour will introduce a near Modern Block Party, which is included in your ticket and present by Starlight Village in Leander. The party will begin at 3 p.m. on tour day, which will feature more homes to explore, plus food and drinks.

The tour’s non-profit beneficiary and volunteer partner for the second year is Texas State University’s Interior Design Program. The tour benefits the design program as well as a scholarship fund for aspiring architects.
