This Valentine's Day, Torchy's wants to help you torch the memories of your ex

Do you still have some of your ex-lover's clothes? You can set them on fire at Torchy's "Salty Singles" party.

AUSTIN, Texas — If your ex-lover left clothes behind before they walked out the door and out of your life, Torchy's Tacos has a solution.

This Valentine's season, the beloved taco joint is hosting a "Salty Singles" party where you can literally set memories of your ex on fire.

On Feb. 12 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Mueller location, attendees are encouraged to bring clothing from your ex, and Torchy's will "take care of it" by setting it ablaze. Anyone who participates will receive a limited-edition "Taco Love" shirt.

"Because, let's be honest, tacos won't break your heart," said Torchy's.

The self-loving fun doesn't end there! Torchy's will also be holding drink specials for you salty singles, including $1.50 off beer and $2 off margaritas and signature sips.

On Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, Torchy's will offer a special "Queso for One" special for $3.60 at all locations across the city. The same drink specials will also be offered.
