AUSTIN, Texas — Burger Tex in North Austin has been serving up great food for more than 40 years.

Those burgers are so good that when current owner Kibo Yun tasted one back in 2000, he enjoyed it so much that he bought the restaurant.

Yun took the time to learn all the traditional recipes and he and his wife lead the staff to this day. They make fresh white and wheat buns every single day, which is one thing that sets Burger Tex apart from the rest.

In addition to the great burgers, you can also fill up on sides like onion rings, fried mushroom and even fried okra.

What many people may not know about Burger Tex is that they serve some of the best Bulgogi in town. Bulgogi is a Korean dish of sliced rib-eye steak you can order either regular or spicy.

Burger Tex is open for lunch and dinner and is located at 5420 Airport Blvd. If you'd like to learn more about Burger Tex, click here.
