AUSTIN, Texas — While large gatherings are cancelled around Central Texas to allow for social distancing and help stop the spread of coronavirus, Austin musicians are going virtual.
Willie Nelson's annual Luck Reunion has been transformed into Thursday's "Til Further Notice" livestream event, which will feature performances by many of the same artists who were set to perform.
The lineup includes Willie Nelson, Lukas Nelson, Micah Nelson, Jewel, Nathaniel Rateliff, Paul Simon & Edie Brickell, Lucinda Williams, Margo Price & Jeremy Ivey, Randy Houser, Paul Cauthen, Early James, Nikki Lane, Katie Pruitt, David Ramirez, Tre Burt, Ian Ferguson, Sunny War, Tami Nelson, Thomas Csobra, Devon Gilfillian and Ida Mae.
Fans can catch the live event on Thursday starting at 6 p.m. at the Luck Reunion website, Twitch page or Facebook page. The stream will run until 11 p.m.
But Willie isn't the only Austin artist putting up a livestream this week.
Black Fret, and Austin-based "patron of local music," is hosting a five-day livestreamed event where you can listen to Austin bands and personalities play live straight from the internet. They're hosting the show at Scholz Garten.

Austin Love & Lighstream started on Tuesday, March 17, and runs through Saturday, March 21. The event starts at 4 p.m. each day and runs for six hours a day.
This event is a way fans of local, live music can participate while responsibly practicing social distancing to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Throughout the event, viewers can make donations, which are tax-deductible, to Black Fret, who says it will disburse the money to Austin musicians and other nonprofits that support the city's music scene.
Some of the bands playing the event include Greyhounds, Sir Woman and Henry Invisible.
