When it comes to being a mom, Kate Middleton knows best!
The Duchess of Cambridge is a pro at this point, after giving birth to three children -- Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 11 months -- with Prince William. So, when it comes to who mom-to-be Meghan Markle should look to for parenting advice, it makes sense why Kate would be the perfect choice.
Meghan, who is expecting her first child with Prince Harry "any day" now, has reportedly been receiving helpful baby tips from both Kate and William. During a public appearance in Leicester, England, last November, Kate even spoke about how excited everyone is to welcome a new baby into the royal family.
"It's such a special time to have little kiddies, and a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis," she told the crowd. "It's really special."
Kate is well-versed with all the various challenges new mothers face, a topic she discussed while visiting the Family Action in January. "It's so hard," she admitted. "You get a lot of support with the baby as a mother particularly in the early days, but after the age of one, it falls away. After that, there isn't a huge amount -- lots of books to read. Everybody experiences the same struggle."
The Duchess of Cambridge also spoke about the struggles of motherhood in 2017, during a visit to the Global Academy. "It is lonely at times and you do feel quite isolated," she said at the time. "But, so many other mothers are going through exactly what you are going through. It is being brave enough ... to reach out to those around you [when you need help]."
Additionally, Kate has already been a wonderful source for all-things-mommyhood, when her sister, Pippa Middleton, turned to her for help prior to the birth of her now 6-month-old son, Arthur, with husband James Matthews.
"Kate has so much knowledge to share," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "She's a walking baby encyclopedia at this point!"
Anne Hathaway also revealed in an interview with Britain's The Times in February that she was inspired by Kate and Prince William's parenting skills. The actress shares one child, 3-year-old son Jonathan, with husband Adam Shulman.
"They get down on the child's level and speak to them eye-to-eye to make their child feel empowered," she explained. "I thought that was really cool. I started doing that with Jonathan."
A source tells ET, however, that as Meghan gets closer to her due date, she is relying most heavily on her mother, Doria Ragland, who is in London to prepare for the arrival of Baby Sussex. There have also been rumors of a rift between Meghan, Kate and their husbands, and it appears the "Fab Four" have become more distant in recent months.
"If Meghan is looking for advice when it comes to raising a royal baby then, of course, she doesn't have to look any further than Kate. That said, I don't think they have this sort of close relationship where Meghan is necessarily seeking advice from Kate," royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET in January. "I think the advice that Meghan has been taking has been from her close friends, Amal Clooney, Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney ... the friends she shared her baby shower with and certainly she has been talking to them about her plans."
