AUSTIN, Texas — Tyler Feldman somehow managed to join the KVUE team as a five-tool sports journalist in August 2021.
A proud Pittsburgh native and Penn State alum, Feldman loves to tell compelling and uplifting sports stories and is thrilled to be able to do so in the beating heart of Central Texas.
After earning dual degrees at Penn State in broadcast journalism and business, Feldman spent two-plus years as a weekend sports anchor/reporter for WBNG in Binghamton, New York. Most recently, Feldman spent nearly three years as a weekend sports anchor/reporter and fill-in news anchor for WITN in Greenville, North Carolina.
Feldman's favorite part of covering local sports is not just watching athletes make incredible plays on the field, but also seeing them grow in stature and confidence when being interviewed in front of the camera.
Again, Feldman was born and raised in Pittsburgh, so let's just say he's a pretty big fan of the Penguins, Pirates, Steelers and Nittany Lions.
When he's not shining Jeff and Emily's shoes in the KVUE Sports office, you can probably find Feldman enjoying some good local eats, taking an improv class, enjoying a comedy show, golfing, working out or watching Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Feldman can't wait to cover the Texas Longhorns, high school athletics, minor league baseball and hockey, as well as professional soccer in the Austin area.
Fun fact: Feldman attended the same high school as former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee.
