Leslie Adami is a reporter at KVUE in Austin, Texas.

Leslie joined KVUE's Daybreak team as a morning reporter in June 2018.

She's no stranger to the morning grind or a 2 a.m. alarm. Prior to her move to KVUE, she worked with KLBK News (CBS) in Lubbock for two years where she solo produced/anchored mornings and was the live noon reporter. While in Lubbock, she covered issues faced by the West Texas veteran community, helped expose and got an exclusive look inside a troubled hotel whose owners had illegally rented out rooms in unsanitary conditions and reported on the deadly on-campus shooting of a Texas Tech University police officer by a student in the fall of 2017.

A native Texan, Leslie grew up in the Coastal Bend and loves all things seafood, sunshine and Selena. After graduating from Sinton High School, she attended the University of Texas (Hook 'Em!) where she graduated early with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a certificate in Latino Media Studies.

For Leslie, the best part of the job is getting to meet someone new each day and help share their story. When she isn't reporting, she loves spending time with her family, being out by the water and working out.

This proud Longhorn is thrilled to be back in the land of burnt orange, Plucker's wings and H-E-B. If you see her reporting out in the field, be sure to come up and say hi!
