AUSTIN, Texas — Cristopher Nunley is a meteorologist at KVUE, joining the team in 2021. Christopher studied meteorology at the University of Oklahoma followed by earning his Master of Science in Applied Meteorology and Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from Mississippi State University. While he may have a gone to OU, he is still a true Texan who grew up in Dallas.
Christopher joins KVUE from our sister station, KAGS, in College Station, where he served as the chief meteorologist. While working in the Brazos Valley, he covered numerous tornado warnings, tropical systems and the record cold and winter weather that slammed Texas in February 2021. He also spent some time as a meteorologist in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
When he is not covering weather, you can find Christopher outdoors running and hiking with his dog, Cash, or enjoying college sports.
