I always look forward to the butterfly weed coming up every spring in the garden. As soon as it peaks, here come the butterflies. I usually go off to work a few days later, only to come home and find "sticks" where it all used to be. It amazes me how much they can eat in such a short period of time. A lovely display of wonder and impermanence.
