This is an oil spill recovery plan that passively separates the oil from the water and the gas below the surface of the Gulf.
Had this plan been used, then there would have been no new damage after its implementation. In operation the oil / gas / water is captured below the surface, separated into pure oil, methane gas and water. Had it been used from day one, there would have been very little oil slick, no damage to the coast and no damage to wildlife.
