April 14, 2010 -- My husband and I had such a beautiful day of seeing the beautiful wildflowers as we drove through the hill county in Central Texas; just a couple hours west of Austin. Enjoy our drive into the Texas Hill Country to see the most spectacular spring wildflowers in over 3 years! What a miracle . . . and thank you Lady Bird Johnson for spreading the seeds for this awesome wildflower showcase throughout Texas. -- These photos were taken along Farm Roard 1323, north of Johnson City TX and west of Hwy 281 to Hwy 16.
