A friend asked me to go with her today to the Austin Kite Festival. I had never been, so I was excited. We parked at the garage near the capital and rode the shuttle, which was great. When we got there, I was overwhelmed with so many kites flying at the same time. It was beautiful. We got up close and I started taking pictures with my littl Nikon. There was such a variety of kites, but I got pictures of a lot of them. I also got a video across the field when a radio announcer was getting people together to do some dance. Even though I was far away and I could barely see them through some tents, I got some cool video. Can't wait to go again!
