I was visiting relatives in Santa Cruz, California. On Christmas Eve, when I went outside to get something from the car, I saw this sight - The moon with Jupiter near it and surrounded by a giant halo. Lacking a tripod, I braced my wrists on the car roof and held the camera for this 3 to 4 second exposure. Everyone in the house came out to enjoy the sight.
