Last weekend after a long hot walk around Lady Bird Lake, our Aussie shepherd Caighley stopped for a rest on one of the hills around the Palmer Event Center. The view of downtown Austin was beautiful so I snapped a few pictures with my phone. Something had caught her attention and she quickly turned her head to the side, but it wasn't until later that night that we discovered the Dragonfly in the shot hovering inches from her nose. Capturing it on camera was sheer luck, but what an amazing picture it turned out to be!
