My wife and I went for a drive yesterday (2 March), and we found these bluebonnets along FM 2341 by Lake Buchanan. There were many small patches, and then this large patch across the road from where I could pull off and park to get the pictures. There were more many small patches along Texas 29 and FM 1431. Also went to the eagles. Two adults at the nest and one juvenile perched on a limb. The second juvenile flew around in the nest area.
Bluebonnets blooming now
