My husband and I biking through the Lost Pines at about 12:05p on Sunday, September 4th. We bike the 25 mile roundtrip often and this time, I was inspired to take a video as I felt most non-Texans would never imagine fir forests in Texas. I called it "Tahoe in Texas." Little did we know a fire would be burning within hours that destroyed these pines and 1,500 family homes.
