I live about 16 miles away from the eastern perimeter of where the Bastrop, Texas fire is currently burning. I was driving west towards Bastrop on Monday Sept. 5, 2011, trying to get pictures of the fire when I passed by this church called simply, "Cowboy Church" on the eastbound side of hwy 71. I turned my truck around and stopped to get these two pictures. This is the entrance of the Cowboy Church, with the smoke from the Bastrop fire behind it.
