This is the top of the trail at my in-laws house on lake Travis. Our family had been down on the lake fishing when we came upon this scene. I call Photo, Fawn1, ”Where in the world is Bambi?”. The photo, Fawn, is a close up of this very poignant scene. Momma deer had move some of the rocks in the fore ground out of the way to give her Bambi a safe shelter. We got our photos and quietly left it in peace.
