This is my parent's wedding picture, taken June 25, 1954. My beautiful mother, Oneta Lewis is still alive at 75, but the two other women in the picture, my Grannie, Creacy Talbert, and my Nannie, Bertha Smith, did not live to see the turn of the century. My father and grandfather also passed away in the 1980's.
