Accident stirs foul language

Crews were busy clearing thousands of pounds of raw chicken from the Interstate after an accident at around 8a.m Sunday.

The driver of a semi-trailor truck travelling southbound on I-35 near Exit 287 in Belton lost control of the vehicle, wh...ich went over the guardrail and landed on its side.

The truck was carrying 50,000 pounds of raw chicken, which spilled out onto the Interstate.

Traffic on both the North and Southbound lanes was backed up as crews worked to clear the scene.

It was not clear Sunday afternoon exactly what caused the crash.

The driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but police say there were no serious injuries.
