I got some funny looks while walking out to the nearest hill with a snowboard under my arm. Of course, I was looking at the drivers in cars like they were crazy too! What did they think they were doing packing all my fresh powder in their tire tracks. Well, as it turned out, the packed snow in the middle of the street made for the fastest ride down the hill ... fast being relative ... to say, a dead stop.
