There are ice curlicues that form from a tall, broadleafed weed that grows freely under the trees in my yard, and I have had the curlicues since it started freezing. They seem to form with the moisture of the plant and wind shapes them. I live outside of Oak Hill, Austin, Texas. They are unusual ice formations and the only ice I have had yet!
