Burst water pipe

Burst Water Supply Line

Arrived at my work located on the north-bound frontage road of IH-35, just north of the exit 217 bridge in Buda/Kyle, this morning & caught the sight of a steaming geyser erupting from the main water supply line to our dealership. Three of our service techs braved the bone-numbing cold to wrap the pipe in an attempt to stop the gushing flow of water from running onto the IH 35 frontage road and into our retention pond that runs along the front of our location. These photos are proof of why faucets should be dripped during freezes & outside pipes should be well insulated! This repair will cost my company around $500 to fix.
