While I was rigging my Laser sailboat to race on Wednesday evening, I was watching this storm develop. I have been in too many storms on the water, so I decided to stay ashore and take pictures. I have always thought the light just before a storm is really interesting, but had never caught it before with a camera. Five minutes after I took this, the wind was blowing over 35 mph. Most of these boats capsized at least once during the peak. FYI - the thing that scares sailors the most is lightning - there was never any sign of that!
