The new Stage 3 Watering Restrictions schedule, effective August 1, 2013, is as follows:
Residents east of Lakeline Boulevard:
Odd addresses water on Saturday; even addresses water on Sunday; the permitted hours to water remain the same - before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
Residents west of Lakeline Boulevard and in the Blockhouse subdivision:
Odd addresses water on Wednesday; even addresses water on Thursday; the permitted hours to water remain the same - before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
Businesses east of Lakeline Boulevard:
Friday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
Businesses west of Lakeline:
Tuesday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
Using a handheld hose equipped with a positive pistol grip nozzle or other device that automatically shuts off water flow when the hose is not being used, or handheld buckets is permitted on any day and at any time
Outdoor watering by drip irrigation or soaker hose is allowed only on designated
Customers must continue to refrain from water waste, according to the following regulations:
Sprinkling systems must be in good working order; any leaks must be repaired
Automobiles must be washed at a commercial car wash
Operation of ornamental ponds and fountains is prohibited unless necessary to support
Residents may not use water to wash sidewalks or driveways; Pressure washing is
Automatic fill of single-family residential pools should be turned off and the filling pools of should be limited to designated watering day; Public and HOA pools will remain open during Stage 3
Residential recreational sprinkler devices such as "slip and slides" are prohibited
The City's existing enforcement and administrative fining policy remains in place under Stage 3:

The City of Cedar Park is available to assist customers with any questions. The City has had very good results with residential and business customers following their watering schedules, and expects to have continued compliance as it enters this new phase of watering restrictions.
