Nearly 70 complaints regarding gas prices in Austin-area so far, A.G. says

TEXAS - As Hurricane Harvey rolled through Texas the past several days, the attorney general's office has received nearly 70 complaints regarding gas prices in the Austin-area and more than 600 complaints regarding gas prices state-wide over the past several days, the office confirmed to KVUE Friday.

Specifically, Jennifer Speller with the Texas attorney general's office said there have been about 67 complaints regarding gas prices in the Austin-area while the state has seen a total of 636 complaints regarding gas prices. State-wide, the office has received 1,992 complaints regarding price gouging in general, Speller said.
