Charlie Munson: 1 of 4 surviving members of the 1949 UT baseball national championship team

He was a multi-sports star at Austin High School, played football and baseball at Texas then left early to serve his country in World War II. Munson returned to UT after the war to finish his eligibility. He helped lead the Longhorns baseball program
