Official who chopped flagpole owes county a replacement

A special prosecutor ordered Rockwall County Commissioner Jerry Wimpee to pay $3,315, donate another $2,000 to a veterans organization and write an apology to citizens for cutting five feet off a pole flying the U.S. flag last February.
