Four-plus years after discovery, prehistoric sea serpent nearly ready for display

A mosasaur discovered on the banks of Duck Creek in Garland more than four years ago, is almost ready to be displayed at the Heard Museum in McKinney. It was the size of a bus and weighed about eight tons.
