Women now allowed to fight on front lines

The ban on women in combat is over.  In an announcement from Defense Secretery Leon Panetta this week, all combat roles to women are open.  This means for the first time, women will be fighting on the front lines and getting the benefits they deserve.  Before the announcement, four women, all soldiers, were already suing Panetta to allow women in combat. 

Air Force pilot Major Mary Jennings Hegar joins us in the studio to discuss this announcement.
