AUSTIN -- A four-year-old girl was killed and two other people were injured in an accident in Northwest Austin.
Austin police said the accident happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 12500 block of Riata Vista Circle, near Parmer Lane. When police arrived, they found a Dodge SUV had struck a tree.
An adult female and three children were in the car when the accident occurred.
The woman was taken to Round Rock Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Austin police took two children, a four-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy, to Dell Children's.
A third child was not injured in the crash.
