AUSTIN -- A Longhorn tradition continues Monday night, despite a change in the school's annual Thanksgiving rival.

Since 1941 the UT Hex Rally has been held to put a "curse" on Texas A&M. But because the Aggies are now out of the Big 12 conference, the Longhorns will be jinxing Texas Christian University.

This is the first year the Horned Frogs are taking the place of A&M as the Longhorns' Turkey Day foe.

The Texas-sized pep rally kicks off at 8 p.m. Students will gather at the main mall in front of the UT tower.

The Longhorn band will perform, and fans will light red candles to hex the Horned Frogs.
