AUSTIN -- This past weekend reports surfaced that Lance Armstrong was considering admitting he doped in order to avoid possible perjury charges and to restore his eligibility so he can resume his athletic career in triathlons and marathons.
At the Livestrong foundation headquarters Tuesday, KVUE asked Foundation President and CEO Doug Ulman about his reaction to the reports.
"We saw the news over the weekend just like everybody else. It was news to us. But as always, the foundation is so focused on our mission," Ulman said. "Lance obviously made a choice to step down from the board to preserve the interest of the foundation, and we are ultimately grateful for that, and so appreciative that he did that."
