Head for the Cure 5K raises awareness for brain cancer

Brain cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of any cancer, but it is the least funded in research.

A week from Sunday, Austin will hold its first ever Head for the Cure 5K race. It will raise money and awareness for brain cancer.

Neuro-Oncologist Dr. Morris Groves and Sarah Shrader, who helped bring the 5K to Austin, spoke to KVUE about it.
