AUSTIN, Texas--Dozens of students learned real life lessons on Saturday at a hands-on disaster scenario.
The teenagers volunteer with Explorer programs with Austin police, fire, and EMS and they joined together for a first of its kind project called, Teen Community Emergency Response Team.
Saturday they participated in a scenario where they rescued pretend victims from a school hit by a tornado.
