ROUND ROCK, Texas -- One man is dead after falling off of a highway overpass.
Round Rock Police say 19-year-old Aaron Schmerber-Phelan was hit by an 18-wheeler after falling onto southbound I-35 near Hester's Crossing.
The accident happened around 5 p.m. Sunday. Round Rock police believe the fall was accidental.
Schmerber-Phelan was taken to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center where he died from his injuries several hours later.
I-35 was shutdown for nearly four hours.
Schmerber-Phelan was a student at Cedar Ridge High School.
