AUSTIN -- High winds are hitting the Austin area, and a cold front will bring a freeze Thursday night.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Austin area until around 3 p.m. Thursday. Winds are expected to reach 40 miles-per-hour.
Highs will be in the upper 50s Thursday with sunny skies.
A hard freeze is expected for Thursday night, which will bring low temperatures of 27 degrees to Austin. Parts of the Hill Country could see temperatures below 20 degrees.
