SOUTH WALES, Australia -- Firefighters are struggling to fight raging wildfires in Australia.
More than 140 fires are out of control in the southeast portion of the country. The weather made conditions more favorable, but temperatures are now back above 100 degrees.
More than 1,300 miles of land has burned so far, destroying homes and farm land. There have been no reported deaths.
More than 1,200 firefighters are working to contain the flames.
