OKINAWA, Japan -- A typhoon battered Japan recently, bringing strong winds and causing damage.
It blew cars and dumpsters around a parking lot on the U.S. military base in Okinawa.
The winds knocked out power to nearly 300,000 households on the island.
The typhoon is expected to hit mainland on Sunday.
