Sweepers keep Illinois airport open

MOLINE, Illinois -- An army of sweepers helped keep an Illinois airport open during this week's winter storm.

At the Quad City International Airport a team of 20 worked rotating 12-hour shifts to keep the runways and tarmacs clear of ice.
