PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- Pflugerville is getting a new electric car charging station.
The station opens Friday and is located on the corner of East Pecan Street and SH 130. A ceremony took place at 4p.m.
The station is the first part of a renewable energy park which aims to attract green technology companies to Pflugerville. According to Colin Touhey, the CEO of Pvilion, the company that built the charging station, it is the first permanent structure of its kind in the world.
The entire installation cost $200,000.
