AUSTIN -- The former ambassador to the African nation of Burundi sat down and spoke with KVUE about the recent attacks in Libya and Egypt.
"The first response that I think is important is we mustn't think that attacks like this represent an entire country. It would be foolish to be punitive toward the country of Libya or Egypt for what has happened," Bob Krueger said.
Former U.S. Senator Krueger is no stranger to the dangers of serving as ambassador. In 1995 during his stint as ambassador, gunmen ambushed his convoy. They used AK-47s to attack the motorcade, killing two and injuring eight others.
