AUSTIN -- Cats and kittens will be up for adoption at a discounted price this weekend.
The Austin Humane Society said Thursday that felines will be up for adoption for only $20 Friday, Sept. 28 through Sunday, Sept. 30.
AHS and the Austin Animal Center are over-capacity when it comes to sheltered animals. They hope to find loving homes for cats to keep Austin a "No Kill" city.
The Austin Humane Society is open from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. AHS is located at 124 West Anderson Lane.
