GEORGETOWN, Texas -- The Georgetown Animal Shelter is looking for a barn or ranch to take in several semi-wild cats.
Officials say the eight cats aren't used to indoor life, so they should live on a farm or ranch. They have all been neutered or spayed, and they have been given their rabies vaccination. There is no adoption fee for people looking to adopt them.
Experts say it's wise to keep semi-feral cats in barns, garages, laundry rooms or outbuildings to get them used to their new homes.
The Georgetown Animal Shelter is located at 110 W. L. Walden Drive.
