WARREN, Vermont -- A moose was on the loose at a ski resort in Vermont. It event charged at a skier - and it's all caught on tape.
Jeff Palmer was on the slopes when a bull moose headed right for him. Palmer popped off his skis and ran. Fortunately for him, the moose veered away at the last second.
It was the first time Palmer had ever seen a moose.
"I looked over my shoulder and it was closing in on me very fast. My life flashed before my eyes, there," Palmer said. "It took me a second, like riding home, talking to my friends, I was like 'did that actually just happen?'"
Ski resort officials thinks Palmer's close call was an isolated incident, and that there is no reason for skiers to be afraid.
