HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- Tuxedo Stan is trying to claw his way into the mayor's office in Nova Scotia.
The three-year-old cat's owner started the Tuxedo Party, and is running Stan's campaign for office. The owner is a retired veterinarian, and he is hoping to bring attention to the need for spaying and neutering cats.
The pet project is just a stunt. Cats aren't really allowed on the ballot in Halifax.
