BEAUMONT, Texas -- A 16-foot-long snake named "Banana" is slithering her way back home.
The albino Burmese python was taken from Gator Country near Beaumont last April. Sunday night someone called the Sheriff's Office to report a massive snake was hanging out near the highway.
Officials were able to identify her as "Banana."
The $5,000 snake seems to be in good shape. Officials say the investigation continues into who swiped the snake in the first place.
