UVALDE, Texas -- Dozens of dogs that were taken from the Uvalde Animal Shelter earlier this month are ready for adoption.

That shelter was closed after deputies found unsafe conditions there.

Forty-one dogs were brought to the Humane Society of Williamson County. They've all had medical check-ups, been spayed or neutered, and been vaccinated.

You can adopt them starting Saturday. The Humane Society of Williamson County is located at 10930 E. Crystal Falls Parkway in Leander. You can call them at 512-260-3602. Click here for more information.
