I had several interviews with James Street through the years. Usually about his 20-0 record as a starting wishbone quarterback. And he may have been even prouder when I talked to him about his sons' achievements. He was a man who always gave credit to others, who always was ready to lend a helping hand, and who was the definition of generous.
This interview, from 2008, has James talking about his days taking over as QB of the Longhorns and winning a national championship. And despite all his individual success, you'll notice that he gives credit to the team.
